What a massive month it’s been at USYDWAKE! A chicks only weekend with World Champ Courtney Angus, our Wakesurf launch party and coaching at Black Diamond Wakeboarding School with Scotty Kell! It has been epic and the fun is set to continue

Ride Day – Sunday 26th February

This Sunday we will be holding yet another ride day out on the beautiful Hawkesbury River. Whether you’re a first timer, a seasoned pro or somewhere in between – Get in touch today and join us on the water! 

WHERE? Cliftonville Ski Park
WHEN? Sunday 26 Feb, 9:00am-3pm
HOW MUCH?

  • RIDES are $25 per 15 mins for community members and $20 for students members. If you are new to the club, please contact the boat captain to find out how to join or check out usydwake.com/membership for more info.
  • Park entry is $6 per person. Please stop at the kiosk before entering the park to pay your entry.
  • Lifts and carpooling can usually be arranged upon request for those without their own transport. We ask that you contribute $10 to your driver to help cover the cost of fuel and tolls.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Swimmers
  • Towels
  • A change of warm clothes
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Camera/Go Pro
  • Lunch (also available for purchase at the Cafe)
  • Cash for rides, membership and food from the cafe (Sorry, no ATM or card facilities available)

O-Week Stall Volunteers Needed

Every year the club has a stall at O-Week to advertise to new students. We are currently seeking volunteers to represent our club.

Score yourself a free ride behind our boat for volunteering to share your love of wake with other students. If you have some free time during this period, Tim would love to hear from you!

When: March 1-3, 9am-4pm
Where: Sydney Uni Camperdown Campus

The season’s first full weekender is locked in with our annual Halloween Ride Weekend set to take place this weekend.  Come join us for sunshine, flat water and good times – contact andrew@usydwake.com to book in your spot

Saturday
Morning – Ride Day – there is an event on the river from 2pm, so we will need to be off by then
Afternoon – BBQ & Beers by the waterfront
Evening – Cabin Party with compulsory Halloween theme!

Sunday
09:30 – 16:30 – All-day Ride Day
Day-trippers invited, but full weekenders will take priority as spaces are limited.

We’re back… 2016-17 Season opener is on!

Brush off those boards, dig out the boardies and bikinis, because USYDWake is back! Spring is well and truly here and the weather is warming, ready for us to make use of all the toys.

The 2016-17 season kicks off with a Friday night season launch party and all-day Saturday ride day. The beasty but beautiful X2 will be back on the Hawkesbury River and ready to deliver all the wake you can handle, accompanied by the very finest tunes being unleashed via its sick sound system!

For those of you keen to join us for the season launch party on the Friday night, cabin accommodation is available at $25 per person per night (pre-payment required for accommodation, BYO food & beers).

Lifts can be arranged, so please be sure to let us know if you are going to need a ride to the river – may require you to meet at a convenient location for your driver.

Spaces are limited and those who are staying the Friday night will get preference. 

WHERE? – Cliftonville Ski Park

WHEN? Friday 23rd September & Saturday 24th September 2016
Overnighters: any time from 5pm on Friday. Cabin number TBC – most of us will be leaving after work to be there for about 7:30pm.
Day Trippers: Be at the park by 9:00am and leave the park around 4:30pm)

HOW MUCH?
STAY – $25 per person, per night (BYO food and beers)
RIDE – $25 per 15 mins for community members! $20 for student members! (Non members contact the Boat Captain for more details)
SKI PARK – $5 (Reduced Price) Entry – included for overnighters!
DRIVER – Bring a bit of cash for your driver to help cover petrol and tollbooth costs.

Boardies/Bikinis & Wetsuits
